Les présentes conditions encadrent la location de véhicules de tourisme catégorie B proposée par LC Location à des particuliers et professionnels, pour des durées de 1 à 60 jours, sur le territoire de Marie-Galante (Guadeloupe).
Conducteur principal et conducteurs additionnels : 21 ans révolus et 3 ans de permis minimum, permis en cours de validité (permis UE ou permis international si hors UE).
Pièce d’identité, permis de conduire et carte bancaire au nom du conducteur principal pour la caution.
Seuls les conducteurs nommés au contrat sont habilités à conduire le véhicule et bénéficient des garanties applicables.
1 000 € par pré-autorisation carte bancaire (ou chèque accepté selon cas). La caution garantit l’exécution des obligations contractuelles et les frais complémentaires éventuels.
Restitution (annulation de l’empreinte) à l’issue du contrôle retour dès lors qu’aucune somme n’est due (carburant manquant, nettoyage anormal, dommages, amendes, etc.).
Livraisons 7j/7 selon horaires bateaux/avions. Supplément de 15 € pour toute remise après 20 h.
Restitution dans un autre point que le départ : sans frais.
Abandon du véhicule hors point/horaires convenus ou sans restitution officielle : frais forfaitaires de 100 € + frais réels de rapatriement et journées supplémentaires.
24 h par journée de location. Minimum 1 jour, maximum 60 jours.
Tolérance 59 minutes. Au-delà, une journée supplémentaire est facturée au tarif en vigueur de la tranche correspondante.
Remboursement intégral si annulation au moins 7 jours avant l’heure de début prévue. À moins de 7 jours : non remboursable (location et options). Le no-show (non-présentation) n’ouvre droit à aucun remboursement.
Usage normal et prudent conforme au Code de la route, transport de personnes à titre gratuit uniquement, respect du gabarit et des charges.
Sous-location, transport onéreux de personnes, apprentissage de la conduite, rallyes/compétitions, traction non autorisée, circulation sur voies non carrossables ou interdites au public, conduite sous l’emprise d’alcool/stupéfiants/médicaments contre-indiqués, laisser le véhicule ouvert ou clés à bord.
La non-restitution des clés ou des papiers peut engager la responsabilité du locataire et entraîner la facturation des frais correspondants.
Un état descriptif départ/retour est établi contradictoirement. Toute remarque sur des défauts apparents doit être consignée avant départ.
Le locataire reste vigilant aux voyants et niveaux, et s’arrête en cas d’alerte. Les pneumatiques endommagés hors usure normale/vice caché sont à la charge du locataire (remplacement à l’identique).
En cas de panne non imputable au locataire, LC Location organise assistance/remorquage et propose, si disponible, un véhicule de remplacement de catégorie équivalente pour la durée restante du contrat. En cas de sinistre/erreur imputable au locataire (ex. erreur de carburant, choc sous/haut de caisse), les frais de dépannage/remorquage et immobilisation restent à la charge du locataire.
Kilométrage Illimité.
Véhicule remis avec un niveau déterminé (souvent plein) et restitué au même niveau. À défaut : facturation des litres manquants au prix local majoré de 30 € de frais de service.
Véhicule restitué propre. Forfait nettoyage optionnel : 20 €. Si véhicule rendu anormalement sale (sable important, boue, taches, déchets, odeurs persistantes, poils), frais de remise en état : 30 €.

Le locataire est responsable des amendes/stationnements. Frais de traitement administratif par dossier : 30 €.
Frais de dossier sinistre (accident/dommage déclaré) : 60 €.
En cas de dommage imputable, des frais d’immobilisation peuvent être facturés (calculés sur la base des jours d’indisponibilité, 2 à 5 jours selon réparations).
Responsabilité civile et dommages/vol (sans franchise pour le locataire) dans les limites et exclusions légales/contractuelles usuelles.
conduite non autorisée, conduite sous emprise, intentionnalité, voies non carrossables, dommages « haut de caisse » au-dessus du pare-brise et « sous-caisse », pneus/jantes/enjoliveurs (hors tiers identifié), non-restitution des clés en cas de vol, surcharge ou non-respect du gabarit.
En cas d’accident : constat amiable sous 5 jours ouvrés (ou dépôt de plainte et clés sous 48 h en cas de vol). Le défaut de déclaration dans les délais peut entraîner la mise à charge des coûts.
Les tarifs affichés par saison et par durée incluent la TVA, hors options/frais complémentaires. Dégressivité selon tranches.
Le coût estimé (location + options) est payable au départ. La caution de 1 000 € est prise par empreinte. Les sommes dues (carburant, nettoyage anormal, amendes, jours/retards, réparations imputables, etc.) peuvent être prélevées via l’empreinte, avec justificatifs.
Les données nécessaires à la location sont traitées pour exécuter le contrat et répondre aux obligations légales (ex. communication d’identité aux autorités pour des infractions). Droits d’accès/rectification selon la réglementation applicable.
Toute réclamation s’adresse d’abord à LC Location (coordonnées figurant au contrat). À défaut d’accord amiable, le droit français s’applique et les tribunaux compétents sont ceux du ressort de la Guadeloupe.
La signature du contrat et la prise du véhicule valent acceptation sans réserve des présentes conditions.

All travel guides will tell you: renting a car in Guadeloupe is essential to fully enjoy your stay. On foot, it will be difficult to get around on an island of 1400 km2 (540 square miles), taxis are relatively expensive, and public transportation is almost non-existent.
The required documents are the same as in mainland France: a valid driver's license (a photocopy is rarely accepted) and a credit card for the security deposit. Be sure to check the minimum age and years of driving experience required in the "Details" tab of each offer.
The roads in Guadeloupe are often hilly, and the slopes can be quite steep. Therefore, it is recommended to avoid category A vehicles (such as Renault Twingo, Kia Picanto, Peugeot 108, etc.) which may not have a powerful enough engine to handle the terrain. Additionally, if you have more than two people in your group, keep in mind that you will need to transport luggage upon arrival and departure. Choosing a vehicle with a spacious trunk is advised.
Few rental companies currently offer electric vehicles in Guadeloupe, and for good reason: not all accommodations are equipped with charging stations, and there are currently only a few fast-charging stations available in parking lots or at gas stations. Therefore, it is not recommended to rent an electric vehicle in Guadeloupe at this time due to limited charging infrastructure.
The deductible is the maximum amount to be paid in the event of an at-fault accident or an accident without an identified third party. This amount is specified in the details of each offer. In practice, if you scratch the car and the repair costs only a hundred euros, then you will have to pay the rental company this amount.
