La voiture est livrée en parfait état de marche et de propreté. Elle doit être restituée dans le même état de propreté ; à défaut, le locataire devra s’acquitter des frais de nettoyage et de remise en état. Les cinq pneus sont en bon état et sans coupures. En cas de détérioration due à une cause autre que l’usure normale, le locataire s’engage à les remplacer immédiatement par des pneus de même dimension et d’usure sensiblement égale.
Sous peine d’exclusion de la garantie d’assurance, le locataire s’engage à ne pas laisser conduire la voiture par une autre personne que lui-même ou une personne agréée par le loueur.
Le carburant est à la charge du client, qui doit également vérifier régulièrement les niveaux d’huile et d’eau. Il devra justifier ces contrôles par des factures correspondantes.
L’usure mécanique normale est à la charge du loueur. Toutes réparations résultant soit d’une usure anormale, soit d’une négligence de la part du client seront à sa charge et effectuées par le loueur.
