Rémire-Montjoly, residential area
Rémire-Montjoly has been created from the merger of the two towns of Rémire and Montjoly in 1969. This new town is currently a residential suburb of Cayenne.
It’s a very nice little town and its motto is: “N’est beau regard sans âme claire” (There is no beautiful look without a beautiful soul). You can find here long beaches and several islands offshore.
